En 2012 el BID aprobó un proyecto para apoyar la preparación de un sistema integral de transporte colectivo para la zona metropolitana de La Paz y El Alto. El proyecto comprendió estudios técnicos, legales, económicos, sociales y ambientales. Un componente fue una encuesta de movilidad urbana que constituye la fuente principal de datos para el presente análisis. Dentro de este marco reunimos información sobre los patrones de viaje y características socioeconómicas de los residentes, en junio y julio de 2015. Para obtener datos comparables y determinar los viajes más comunes, tales como de la casa al lugar de trabajo o la escuela y de regreso, recogimos datos de las 6 p.m. a las 9 p.m. en días laborables y fines de semana. La muestra fue recogida a nivel sub-distrital (manzanos) para cubrir los distritos de La Paz y El Alto, siguiendo un proceso de selección aleatorio (ver Anexo 2 para más detalles). Un total de 6,720 habitantes de La Paz (4,208) y El Alto (2,512) fueron entrevistados de entre un total de 6,208 hogares (3,892 y 2,316 en La Paz y El Alto respectivamente). Se encuestó a los participantes sobre los dos últimos viajes que habían hecho antes de la fecha de la entrevista

LAC is the most water-rich region in the world by most metrics; however, water resource distribution throughout the region does not correspond demand. To understand water risk throughout the region, this dataset provides population and land area estimates for factors related to water risk, allowing users to explore vulnerability throughout the region to multiple dimensions of water risk.

This dataset contains estimates of populations living in areas of water stress and risk in 27 countries in Latin America and the Caribbean (LAC) at the municipal level. The dataset contains categories of 18 factors related to water risk and 39 indices of water risk and population estimates within each with aggregations possible at the basin, state, country, and regional level.

The population data used to generate this dataset were obtained from the WorldPop project 2020 UN-adjusted population projections, while estimates of water stress and risk come from WRI’s Aqueduct 3.0 Water Risk Framework. Municipal administrative boundaries are from the Database of Global Administrative Areas (GADM). The ENOE is the largest household survey conducted in Mexico, and it is superior to administrative data in this context because it includes both the formal and informal sectors of the economy. Its data collection occurs quarterly in a rotating panel format with five observations per household. The ENOE data in this paper spans Q1 of 2005 to Q1 of 2020, a total of 61 surveys (one per quarter). Each survey visits approximately 120,000 households. The survey's demographics section includes information on every member of the household, such as their relationship to the head of household, gender, education, marital status, reason for not living in the household anymore (after the first survey), access to health care, employment, income, and hours worked.

ENESS data is available for 2009, 2013, and 2017. As an accompanying module of the ENOE, it covers all the households covered by the ENOE for two out of the three months in the quarter. Hence, the ENESS covers roughly two-thirds of the ENOE sample for the quarter. The ENESS data includes responses from 209,266 households. These households use public and private daycare providers for 3,991 and 1,177 children under seven years old

Dataset related to the publication "Transformacao Digital dos Governos Brasileiros Satisfacao dos Cidados com os Serviços Públicos Digitais". The document summarizes the results of a new citizen satisfaction survey on digital public services in Brazil. It shows that the Brazilian population is connected and considers itself well adapted to the digital world, even with foreseeable inequalities of age, level of formal education and income. It aimed to collect information about the adaptation of citizens to the digital world, their level of perceived connectivity and internet use and their assessment of the quality of digital services in the public sector (focusing on the state level, but also with questions about the federal and municipal levels) and the private sector, among other topics.

Desde el Instituto para la Integración de América Latina y el Caribe (INTAL) del Sector de Integración y Comercio del Banco Interamericano de Desarrollo (BID) se realiza esta encuesta a firmas de América Latina y el Caribe (ALC) que exportan tanto dentro de la región como a nivel extrarregional. El objetivo del análisis es entender cómo evolucionan sus exportaciones, cuáles son los problemas que enfrentan, qué medidas han tomado, cuáles son las políticas públicas de apoyo que han recibido y cuál es la visión prospectiva de las empresas.

The Population and Housing Censuses database contains the censuses harmonized in such a way as to provide comparable census information over time and across countries. The variables in these databases are constructed under a common approach and structure, with standardized names, definitions, and disaggregations, and stored in a single file for each country. Currently, the harmonization of Population and Housing Censuses includes databases for 22 countries.

The indicators are categorized into seven themes: demographics, education, labor market, housing, income, migration, and diversity. When possible, we add multiple disaggregations for indicators. The available disaggregations are ethnicity, gender, age, education level, and area of geographic residence.

The management and harmonization of this database are provided by the Social Sector (SCL) of the Vice Presidency of Knowledge and Sectors to strengthen the analytical content of projects and studies.
