The OLAS Simplified GLAAS for LAC dataset provides information on water and sanitation governance in 30 countries across Latin America and the Caribbean (LAC) from 2018 and 2021. The data is from the UN-Water Global Analysis and Assessment of Sanitation and Drinking-Water (GLAAS), which is a global survey carried out by UN Water and the World Health Organization (WHO) that collects country-level information on provision of water, sanitation, and hygiene services. The survey covers topics like governance, monitoring, finance, and human resources in the sector. This simplified version of the dataset contains information relevant to WASH governance in LAC.

En 2012 el BID aprobó un proyecto para apoyar la preparación de un sistema integral de transporte colectivo para la zona metropolitana de La Paz y El Alto. El proyecto comprendió estudios técnicos, legales, económicos, sociales y ambientales. Un componente fue una encuesta de movilidad urbana que constituye la fuente principal de datos para el presente análisis. Dentro de este marco reunimos información sobre los patrones de viaje y características socioeconómicas de los residentes, en junio y julio de 2015. Para obtener datos comparables y determinar los viajes más comunes, tales como de la casa al lugar de trabajo o la escuela y de regreso, recogimos datos de las 6 p.m. a las 9 p.m. en días laborables y fines de semana. La muestra fue recogida a nivel sub-distrital (manzanos) para cubrir los distritos de La Paz y El Alto, siguiendo un proceso de selección aleatorio (ver Anexo 2 para más detalles). Un total de 6,720 habitantes de La Paz (4,208) y El Alto (2,512) fueron entrevistados de entre un total de 6,208 hogares (3,892 y 2,316 en La Paz y El Alto respectivamente). Se encuestó a los participantes sobre los dos últimos viajes que habían hecho antes de la fecha de la entrevista

Los datos provienen de una encuesta realizada a una muestra de 25 ciudades intermedias y pequeñas de Bolivia, llevada a cabo en el periodo 2022. Esta actualiza los datos de la encuesta de mercado laboral realizada en 2017 a ciudades intermedias y pequeñas que se utilizó para este mismo análisis en 2020. Se describen las principales características de las empresas y la fuerza laboral en un contexto post pandemia, y se identifican los retos de formación que confronta el mercado laboral boliviano. También se incluye información sobre las perspectivas laborales de estudiantes que cursan el último año de secundaria.

It seeks to support countries in their digital transformation for the design and implementation of effective public policies and innovative management models in the information age. At the same time, it becomes a regional meeting point for the improvement of waste and circular economy statistics.

The OLAS LAPOP 2018-2019 dataset provides information on water and sanitation access for 18 countries across Latin America and the Caribbean. The dataset uses microdata from the 2018-2019 wave of the AmericasBarometer project from Vanderbilt’s Latin America Public Opinion Project (AB-LAPOP).

The AB-LAPOP is a comparative survey that aims to create a temporal data set for the western hemisphere that includes a broad range of topics, produced by a standardized method and the use of a common core questionnaire which permit valid comparisons across countries and over time on topics. Technical information on the sampling methods and survey design can be access for each country surveyed on the LAPOP website. The OLAS LAPOP 2018-2019 dataset focuses on water and sanitation access information, covering topics like type of water source used by households for different purposes, continuity of access, type of sanitation facility and whether households have exclusive access.
