This database provides measures of labor productivity (LP), capital and labor productivity (KLP) and Total Factor Productivity computed by Daude and Fernández-Arias (2010) for the 1960-2011 period, along with the inputs used to calculate them. This data spans 74 countries of them.

Data from Americas Barometer study were collected in 2016–17 and refer to the subsample of 17 countries in Latin America. The IADB–LAPOP–Capital Cities Project includes data collected from 2017, between August and September. A total of 6,040 interviews in seven countries were conducted as part of the project (Chile, Colombia, Honduras, Mexico, Panama, Peru, and Uruguay). The Population and Housing Censuses database contains the censuses harmonized in such a way as to provide comparable census information over time and across countries. The variables in these databases are constructed under a common approach and structure, with standardized names, definitions, and disaggregations, and stored in a single file for each country. Currently, the harmonization of Population and Housing Censuses includes databases for 22 countries.

The indicators are categorized into seven themes: demographics, education, labor market, housing, income, migration, and diversity. When possible, we add multiple disaggregations for indicators. The available disaggregations are ethnicity, gender, age, education level, and area of geographic residence.

The management and harmonization of this database are provided by the Social Sector (SCL) of the Vice Presidency of Knowledge and Sectors to strengthen the analytical content of projects and studies.

Agrimonitor is the IDB Product Support Estimates (PSE) country-level database for Latin American and Caribbean countries. It enables policy makers and policy analysts to track agricultural policies and to assess and measure the composition of the support to agriculture. PSE indicators related to magnitudes and composition help to better describe and address the key challenges facing agriculture in the coming decade.

En 2012 el BID aprobó un proyecto para apoyar la preparación de un sistema integral de transporte colectivo para la zona metropolitana de La Paz y El Alto. El proyecto comprendió estudios técnicos, legales, económicos, sociales y ambientales. Un componente fue una encuesta de movilidad urbana que constituye la fuente principal de datos para el presente análisis. Dentro de este marco reunimos información sobre los patrones de viaje y características socioeconómicas de los residentes, en junio y julio de 2015. Para obtener datos comparables y determinar los viajes más comunes, tales como de la casa al lugar de trabajo o la escuela y de regreso, recogimos datos de las 6 p.m. a las 9 p.m. en días laborables y fines de semana. La muestra fue recogida a nivel sub-distrital (manzanos) para cubrir los distritos de La Paz y El Alto, siguiendo un proceso de selección aleatorio (ver Anexo 2 para más detalles). Un total de 6,720 habitantes de La Paz (4,208) y El Alto (2,512) fueron entrevistados de entre un total de 6,208 hogares (3,892 y 2,316 en La Paz y El Alto respectivamente). Se encuestó a los participantes sobre los dos últimos viajes que habían hecho antes de la fecha de la entrevista

The OLAS LAPOP 2018-2019 dataset provides information on water and sanitation access for 18 countries across Latin America and the Caribbean. The dataset uses microdata from the 2018-2019 wave of the AmericasBarometer project from Vanderbilt’s Latin America Public Opinion Project (AB-LAPOP).

The AB-LAPOP is a comparative survey that aims to create a temporal data set for the western hemisphere that includes a broad range of topics, produced by a standardized method and the use of a common core questionnaire which permit valid comparisons across countries and over time on topics. Technical information on the sampling methods and survey design can be access for each country surveyed on the LAPOP website. The OLAS LAPOP 2018-2019 dataset focuses on water and sanitation access information, covering topics like type of water source used by households for different purposes, continuity of access, type of sanitation facility and whether households have exclusive access.
